Guidelines for reporting bugs, issues and errors

Post by dineshayyala »

We understand that the occasional bugs, errors, crashes and other issues lead to a very uncomfortable experience while using the software. Please bring any bugs you may encounter to our notice so that they can be fixed in the next release. It is very difficult to reproduce and fix bugs that have very generic descriptions. Please try to be as detailed as possible and if possible, provide a copy of the data file (.JSON file). You may perform the following steps to send a de-identified version of the data file:
1. Create a copy of the file and rename it so that it no longer contains the patient name
2. Open the renamed file using any text editor (e.g. Notepad) and delete the first 20 or so lines which may contain any identification information.
3. Send the file as an attachment either in your bug report, direct message to me (username: dineshayyala) on the forums, or email it to apdtestsoftware@audiproaudiology.ca

I was midway through questionnaires when I got this bug today. It's deleted my .json file somehow?

Thanks!
